This shoe features a one-time TW 6-month outsole durability guarantee. If you wear through the outsole within 6-months of purchasing from Tennis Warehouse you can return the pair for replacement.

Please note:

  • Warranty only covers the rubber outsole of the shoe. Damage to the toe-guard or upper of the shoe does not qualify for the warranty replacement.
  • Shoe must be completely worn through the outsole and into the midsole or insole of the shoe.
  • Warranty is void if the shoe is abused or mishandled.

Carrying on the comfort legacy that the one-thousand series is known for, now with Fresh Foam in the midsole! This is the 2E Wide version.

The one-thousand series of courts shoes lives on, with the New Balance MC 1007 2E, carrying on the high level of comfort, cushioning, and breathability it is known for. The upper material provides comfort and support, making for a very plush feel around the heel and ankle region, while also being soft and breatheable on top of the toes. The key update to this shoe is the addition of Fresh Foam X material underneath your foot in the midsole, supplying a plush and comfortable ride with the added benefit of energy return. New Balance's signature Ndurance outsole provides an ideal blend of traction and durability on hard courts, as well as other surfaces. These shoes are even backed by New Balance's NDurance 6-month outsole durability guarantee.

  • Upper: Synthetic materials combined with mesh provide lightweight support and breathability. Added protection around the toes helps provide durability.
  • Midsole: Fresh Foam provides a high level of comfort, shock-absorption, and energy return for easy rebound.
  • Outsole: Non-marking NDurance rubber outsole in a unique tread pattern design for a high level of traction and durability on hard courts, and other court surfaces. Backed by New Balance's NDurance 6-month outsole durability guarantee.
  • Color: Black / Grey

They work.I'm a fan of Fresh Foam X. (not a fan of FuelCell) 6 month warranty is a nice treat.

Great ShoesI probably bought 10 pairs of NB 1006 over the past 8 years. I was disappointed when they were discontinued. I recently wore out the 1007s that I ordered last Summer. They are a good replacement. I am about to order another pair.

About the same as 1006 for meTo me — size 13 2e, 210 pounds, USTA 4.0-ish, old — the 1007 seems about the same as the 1006. On court, it’s been perfectly fine from day one. I can’t tell if the tread is wearing out faster than on the 1006. Maybe the new space race will yield billion dollar shoe treads that will last more than four months.

Comfortable, but upper is falling apart quickI used 1006 for years; they were great and pretty much lasted forever. I used to throw them into the rubbish bin only after the first hole appeared in one of the soles. Now, the "improved" version of 1007, while they are still very comfortable and give you decent performance and agility on the court, the vamp, the quarter, and the collar lining start falling apart after only 3-4 months of light to medium use by a recreational player like me. Now I have a pair of shoes with like-new outsoles and good threads, but everything else is falling apart. I don't understand how a big and respected brand like NB is accepting to use so low-quality fabric for Vamp and upper, and collar??? Unfortunately the replacement 1007 arrived before the " old" one had fallen apart, so now I will see if the second pair will have the same problem??? I don't want to buy tennis shoes that can be used only "once"

Soles don't last like they used to.I have wide feet, and have been using the NB MC 100x 4E series of shoes for at least 15 years. It used to be that the soles would last a long time - 6 months to a year. Not so for the 1007s. I wore through the soles of my latest pair in a month. These fit me much better than any other shoe, so I'll continue to use them, but I sure would like to see a return to the older soles that wear better. I'd at least like to get 3 to 6 months out of a pair.

Superdave 3Due to loss of what is called the "spring ligament" in my left foot, I have to wear a 4E tennis shoe (that ligament keeps the foot from going flat, which is what happened to me). I had previous 1005 and 1006 versions of this shoe, but they were still not wide enough, and I had to stretch them (there are ways to stretch canvas shoes). This new 1007 version of the shoe fit good right away, with no adjustments needed, and felt comfortable from day 1. Thank you New Balance!

Works for meNB sneakers appear to be the only sneaker on the market that will fit my awkward feet while providing the comfort & support I need. I am generally hesitant to purchase on line but these shoes are as advertised.

stiffSoles are too stiff for me. 1006 models are soft and comfortable. Should not have changed the sole at all

senior playerI'm a 71 year old male 4.5 and my mobility isn't as good as it once was; however, these shoes are perfect for me - wide and comfortable. (and I think they look good too!) I can teach and or play for several consecutive hours with no discomfort.

Super comfortable but fabric quality poorAs mentioned by other reviews, the fabric quality is terrible. I'm an aggressive mover on court and put in 6-8 hours on this shoe every week. After about 5 months, the fabric below the N logo ripped apart while on court. Tennis Warehouse customer support is the best and they offered a full store credit. Shoe
