Solinco adds more power to theBlackout 300 with Arch-2 construction

Introducing the second generation of Solinco's Blackout 300! Like the inaugural version, this update pairs the raw speed of a sub-320 swingweight with a powerful beam construction and spin-friendly string pattern. The result is a modern player's racquet that makes it easy to load the ball with pace and spin. For 2025, Solinco adds Arch-2 construction, an innovative layup technology that boosts stability and power. Other features include a Power Flex Zone which puts the max beam height at the 5 and 7 o'clock positions to increase energy return. Under the hood, the Blackout features a 40T Carbon Fiber at 3 and 9 o'clock, resulting in a larger sweet spot along with a more stable feel on off-center impact. The Blackout also comes with Liquid Crystal Technology in the layup to reduce harsh vibration, along with foam in the head, giving it a wonderfully solid and stable at impact. Ultimately, with the Blackout 300 v2, Solinco has produced an outstanding option for intermediate and advanced players who like controlling the action with pace and spin.

This racquet's weight and balance can be modified using Solinco's weight control modules (interchangeable butt-cap plates that enable you to add 5 or 10 grams to the stock weight) - sold separately

Try it. Try it now!I just played with the Solinco Blackout 300 v2 Camo for the first time this morning. Wow, I was impressed. This racquet suited my game perfectly. I'm a 68 y/o male, 4.0 player that likes to play with topspin. I have a one-handed backhand. I have been playing with the v2 Whiteout but I always wondered if the Blackout might be better suited to my playing style and ability and it does. I play mostly pretty competitive doubles and can and do generate my own power but I will sometimes over hit in an attempt to generate that power. With the Blackout, I have plenty of power from the frame so I don't need to overhit and the spin comes nice and easy. It also felt nice and solid at the net while being very quick too. This racquet felt like it was made for me! I first got interested in the Solinco brand after seeing that Roman Prokes was heavily involved in the racquet design. He is one of the top racquet technicians/stringers/teachers so his involvement was enough for me. What I really like about the Solinco racquets is the solid feeling when striking the ball. I hit with a friend's new Yonex the other day and I didn't like it at all. To me, It felt flimsy. I'm really happy with this racquet. I strung it with Solinco Hyper G SOFT @ 52 lbs.

Fun Racquet and Easy Power!Great frame! I came from using the Head Extreme MP which still might be my racquet of choice, but I am shocked on how good a Solinco racquet can be. To be honest what drew me in was the paint job but there was plenty of power, muted feel, decent spin and stable. I saw a lot of comments on the previous version regarding stiffness, but I can confirm they have taken the feedback and implemented updates to improve the this. Awesome on serve and from the baseline. Thinking of making the switch to take advantage of the easy power.
