This new addition to the CX family combines classic control with modern speed

Introducing the CX 200 18x20 Limited Edition. With this racquet, Dunlop adds a new member to its signature control line, complete with cosmetic touches that pay homage to the brand's storied heritage. Unlike the CX 200 Tour 18x20, this model packs a slightly more generous head size along with an ultra-low sub-310 swingweight. The result is a racquet that combines surgical control and sublime feel with lightning speed from all areas of the court. Technologies include Powergrid Stringtech+, which features wider cross-string spacing to enhance spin and power. Dunlop also updates the stiffness profile, adding greater flexibility on the inner part of the frame for enhanced dwell time and pocketing, while also stiffening the racquet's face for added stability and power. To help reduce harsh impact vibrations, Dunlop adds a highly elastic material (named Vibroshield) to the midsection of both the hoop and shaft. This is complemented by Sonic Core with Infinergy, a uniquely pliable material applied to the 3/9 axis of the head to boost comfort and power. In addition to being a great platform racquet, this instant classic will appeal to those who place a premium on speed, precision, and feel. Did we mention the speed?

98 18x20 long time coming for DunlopThis is a long time coming; not sure what took them so long to come out with this to compete with the Blade 98 18x20 but glad they did. A very different racquet than the blade a lot more whippy and user friendly bc of the 7 points HL balance. This thing is a wand at the net great for half volleys reflex volleys and very easy to carve the ball too. It is a little firmer than the Blade but the Sonic core (such a unique feel) and servo filter help dampen the frame. I used to play with the original CX Revo 2.0 Tour 18x20 but has looking for a little more margin w a slightly larger head and a tad more pop and I found the best of both worlds. I may not add any weight to it like all mine are customized with slightly higher swing weight 327 7 points HL and around 11.7. But the 18x20 still gives great control and still decent ball bite if you can produce the racquet head speed, great for BH slices it really knifes through the air. It is def firmer then my old sticks 65 vs 62 but has it's benefits. There are some racquets that just feel great in your hand; I love their pallets btw always just molds to your hand (a very underrated thing about racquets people don't think about it) but this just felt great from the first time I picked it up. I just serve and volley and return and come in so I don't really need the extra SW if I hit more than 5 ground strokes in a match it is a miracle (not counting returns ofc) But for those grinders and bashers you may need to add a little lead to the hoop and at 9 and 3 but the feel is very unique has good tech you can feel the difference and it is a great looking racquet as well great paint job. It is worth a try and hope more people give it a shot it is a shame Dunlop is so poor at marketing. I am a former college player that still plays USTA competitively and has won national titles at 4.5 and mixed. I go back and forth between 4.5/5.0. Classic doubles game volleys are a my best shot which this racquet enhances. Give it a try.
