This thin version of O-Toro Tour combines surgical control with impressive bite and feel

As one of the firmest options in Toroline's string family, O-Toro Tour has phenomenal control. The low-powered response and ultra-predictable trajectory will enable you to take massive cuts at the ball when loading your shots with pace and spin. It also features a six-sided shape and low-friction surface, giving it impressive bite and snapback (think spin)! Ultimately, O-Toro Tour is ideal for experienced players who prefer direct ball feedback and surgical precision.

  • Gauge: 17L/1.20
  • Length: 330ft/100m
  • Composition: Co-polyester monofilament

Great firm polyI really liked the thicker mint-colored O-Toro Tour string so was curious how this thinner gauge fared in comparison. To me, it played very different actually, with noticeably more ball pocketing which had a particularly higher launch angle. I would say this is better suited for rounding out the playability of denser string pattern frames while the thicker version better matches more open patterns.

ConsistencyThe reason I have moved to low-friction strings like Toroline is because I can't afford to restring my racquets every 3-4 sessions. When strings go from sliding to sticking because of notch wear, their playability changes. All things being equal, I now choose strings with lower tension loss and lower String-to-string friction because those two attributes impact playing consistency the most.
