Better Than Confidential For MostI love Solinco strings and I've tried literally all of them, so I had to try these after the Confidential died in my Blade. I think, for the majority of players, these are a more comfortable and higher-performing pick than Confidential.
I'm a 4.5ish all-court player, but I have a serious baseliner side to me and these are far more comfortable and forgiving on extended rallies than most power-oriented strings and give far more spin than most as well. I already have a vertical, topspin-heavy spin and these make it even better!
I have my other racquet, a Pure Strike, now strung with these as well and it's hard for me to recommend Confidential, again, for most people, over these.
I also think the color is great and compliments something like a Blade (which is already a bit flashy to begin with) well.
New go to stringBeen using the Hyper Mach BD hybrid strings and regular confidential strings in my Whiteout V2 racquets, but will definitely be using these instead of the confidential and maybe in place of the hyper mach hybrid setup.
They have more feel and comfort compared to the confidential but with same amount of spin and more power. I am able to place my shots where I want.
Only things to note have been the 30-40 min break in period and also the lower launch angle. Ive had to adjust my swings a little bit but the consequence has been more spin so its more of a win for me than a negative. 3 hours in and waiting for my confidentials in my other racquet to die so I can replace with a full bed of these confidential soft strings
